CHARLOTTE, NC February 12, 2010 – Superintendents Cliff Tissue and Nick Willman and Project Manager, David Cannizzo Named Top Dogs 2009 at Tyler 2 Construction.

02/22/2010—Katie Tyler, President & Big Dog of Tyler 2 Construction is proud to announce the recognition of David Cannizzo, Cliff Tissue and Nick Willman as Top Dogs 2009 at Tyler 2 Construction.

Tyler 2 created the Top Dog award in 2006 as a way of recognizing associates who embody the core values of Tyler 2 Construction in their day-to-day work efforts. Over a 12 month period, these three associates were recognized by their Tyler 2 team mates an equal number of times for their actions above and beyond expectations. Their efforts created “WOW” moments for clients and co-workers. Nick, Dave and Cliff were all recognized as Caring, True Team Players, and Qualified Associates with Superior Financial Performance on their projects.

Cliff Tissue and Nick Willman are both Superintendents with Tyler 2 Construction. Cliff joined Tyler 2 in 2000 and has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years acquiring a diverse background in all phases of construction. He is responsible for daily supervision of projects, scheduling and managing trade contractors, interpretation of project plans, cost management, quality control and managing site safety. Cliff has extensive experience in medical office construction.

Nick joined Tyler 2 in 2007 and brings a depth of talent to the already seasoned Tyler 2 Field Operations Team. He manages the labor and material resources to ensure a clean, quality project that is completed on-schedule and on-budget. Nick’s expertise is in managing office upfit projects in occupied multi-story buildings.

Project Manager, David Cannizzo has over 28 years of construction industry experience. Dave’s portfolio of work includes educational facilities, healthcare projects and mixed use developments. He is an expert in contract management, earned value enhancement and quality control.

The Top Dog Award is an annual recognition of a top performing Tyler 2 Associate and is tied directly to the core values of Tyler 2 Construction.
