Tyler 2 Construction was originally hired to handle the upfit of ten retail shops in two buildings in this shopping complex. Work was to have been coordinated with one contact person, the owner. As leases were signed, the job became ten separately contracted upfits for individual tenants.

The Challenge: The project was government funded, and the budget was very limited. The shell buildings were behind schedule, but the grand opening dates were firm. Tyler 2 coordinated with the tenants and their vendors to complete the work within a very tight schedule.

The Result: All stores were open by the requested grand opening date. City West Commons continues to be a showplace for this developing area – West Charlotte.
